COPPER and gold explorer Coppermoly has appointed Wanfu Huang and Jincheng Yao as non-executive directors, following the resignation of Ben Faulkner and Mike Howard.
Dr Huang has more than 20 years experience in the exploration industry, having held numerous roles covering base metals, gold, iron ore, coal and bauxite in Australia and overseas.
Dr Huang is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and holds a PhD, a MSc and a BSc.
Mr Yao is a finance professional based in mainland China.
He has held varies senior executive roles in the Meijin Group and is currently vice president and director of Meijin Energy Group, bringing commercial and financial expertise to the company board.
Mr Yao holds a MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce and has experience across many aspects of mining and industry in both China and Australia.
Mr Faulkner and Mr Howard both resigned from the board but have agreed to defer payment of their accrued directors’ fees until such time as the Company has sufficient funds to pay them, Coppermoly said in an announcement.
