LUKIM PNG Nau – PNG’s annual tourism expo will be hosted by the Papua New Guinea Tourism Industry Association (PNGTIA) in partnership with the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority (TPA) in late September.
Lukim PNG Nau 2015 will be held in the nation’s capital at the Port Moresby Nature Park from 27 to 28 September, coinciding with World Tourism Day, held on Sunday 27 September.
TPA said the public are invited to see on display the products and services on offer by Papua New Guinea’s tourism industry.
Cultural group performances, prize give-aways and other activities, such as face painting and access to the Nature Park facilities will be open to attendees.
Opportunity for appointments with invited international tour wholesalers and agents will be on the second day of the expo, known as the ‘trade day’.
This event presents a unique opportunity to network with industry colleagues and international travel trade professionals, TPA said.
Tourism operators ranging from airlines, small resorts to large hotel groups, tour operators and tourism associations are participating in this year’s event.
TPA said exhibition space is limited and will be allocated on a ‘first in’ basis with priority given to PNGTIA financial members.
Lukim PNG Nau is an annual two day event which will be the culmination of a week long program of tourism awareness activities by the TPA, the organisation said.
