ENERPAC has expanded its representation within Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Bougainville through the appointment of Pat Molloy.
Mr Molloy, whose expertise encompasses Enerpac cylinders, pumps, heavy lifting and controlled bolting solutions, will expand on-site service and technical support with his appointment as PNG Manager.
Enerpac regional manager Australia and New Zealand, Denis Matulin said Mr Molloy will be targeting the mining, oil and gas and agricultural sectors, which make a major contribution to the local economies of PNG and the surrounding region.
“He has already conducted safety training, safety audits and application audits on several sites in PNG,” he said.
“This new venture brings Enerpac’s leading range of tools, training and audits to the region, all backed by its extensive service and support network throughout Australasia.”
Mr Molloy said he has always had a personal interest in PNG.
“Consistent servicing of tools has always been difficult, especially remote areas. Enerpac can provide on-site servicing of tools, which can save on freight costs and minimise downtime,” Mr Molloy said.
